Photographer's Note
For me, this lake is absolutely the jewel of the Rockies. Not only the most spectacular of all the lakes we visited on this trip, but the most beautiful lake I have ever visited. I always thought that Milford Sound would take that title (even though not actually a lake!), but I have to say that Moraine Lake pips even there for its jaw dropping beauty.

Difficult to choose between the two framing, a little preference can be for the landscape.

Hi Adam,
This is a picture perfect postcard image, with such great tones and perfect sharpness. The glaciers seem to be moving down the slopes....really nice, and the touch of sunlight on the peaks give a perfect finish to the photo. Cheers Grant

I can't decide whether I like this more than your previous post or not. The overall panorama is lessened, but this has an icy, crystalline quality that is unlike anything I've seen. One thing I know for sure is that it's a beautiful picture that really captures the beauty of this place. Superb!

Another magical shot of Moraine Lake. You were there at the right time with the perfect lighting. The snow sure adds to it. I love the reflection in the water as well. Excellent composition with great quality and colours!

PS: I am so glad you were still able to visit here during your trip! Most people want to make sure they see Lake Louise and miss out on this beautiful gem which is uncomparible in beauty. I agree...it's the most beautiful lake I have ever seen as well!
