Photographer's Note
At Wickaninnish Beach you come to the wide open shore where everything you see is controlled by rugged nature. The fresh sea air blowing upon your face,fresh kelp seaweed brought in from last nights tide is strewn all over the shoreline, and in the foreground a small fresh water stream carves its way through the sand to the open sea. Here is a beach where you can be alone ! It's a rough beach with some parts of trees abd it look a little bit dirty.

Well done, I can just feel the sea breeze and smell the salt in the air. Excellent image if the viewer can perceive the elements.
I am sure the weather has been too hazardous to be out but I am sure you will find some real treasures along the beach when the storm is over. I am looking forward to some post storm images.

Congratulations on your 500th posting, Paul. I had expected you to post a typical Canadian mountain scene, but you have surprised us with this one. The 'emptiness' and relative lack of colour makes for quite an unusual photograph (at least for you) - and perfect composition. Cheers . . . David
