Waiting for the rain
found a barn with red doors and windows frames.
A dark sky
but luminous trees in their fall livery,
contrasting nicely with the wood structure.
Sure put some sun in our day.
But the rain did came,heavy with her friend the wind.
We left,happy.

En attendant la pluie
nous avons trouvé une ferme soulignée de rouge,
comme les lèvres d'une femme.
Un ciel sombre,
Deux arbres lumineux,dans leur costume automnal,
contrastant avec le bois,
pour contredire le ciel
un soleil,ils ont déposés dans nos coeurs.
La pluie venu avec son compère le vent,
nous repoussa heureux.

Hi, Charles

nice colours and atmosphere. One thing bothers me a bit. I think the upper frame is too close. The slight window touch doesn't look good.
Overall nice pic to watch.

I love the composition and the color combination in this photo. I think it would be nice if the windows above were placed a bit lower from the edge of the frame.

I particularly like the strong colours and the sky reflection on the windows. Your composition is also nice but is bit tight. Well done.

hello Charles.
Great colors, the red sills standout quite well with the dark wood background and the yellow foliage. I think the symmetry of the windows reminds me of a smile. Also, the texture of the wood behind is quite nice.

Beau travail de composition ici. J'aime le coté très linéaire de cette photo. Les couleurs et le sujet fait très automne. Les deux petits arbres aussi ajoutent à la composition.

Another excellent picture. Needless to stay its the stunning combination of colours, which makes this stand out. I agree with Jammer though, it would have been nice to some space on the top.

The old barn has decked itself in Autumn colours to match the season. :)The black windows are probably reflecting the ominous sky. Good shot with the twin trees standing guard.

tres jolie note pour nous presenter cette belle image aux couleurs chaude de l'automne. il a une vraie symétrie dans la disposition de ces fenêtres et de ces deux arbres.

Hi Charles,

I like the more panoramic view of this shack though it's cropped a little tight at the top for me. There's a lot of texture in the image and I like the contrast between the colour of the windows and door with the more earthly colours of the wood, grass and foliage. A fine capture, well seen.

Assez inusité et très original comme arrangement de fenestration. Les couleurs sont remarquables et je note une certaine forme de symétrie malgré tout.

j'avais loupé celle-ci j'y reviens. J'adore ce côté vieille ferme avec ce rouge intense qui lui donne vie. Les deux arbres semblent posés là par hasard en se faisant face. Amusant.
