Hi Otto,
very modern art - I'm not sure where the artist can see Moses in this sculpture - but it's interesting and fascinating. And I like the spotlight on it, nice work, thanks and greetings

Hi Otto,
Well I've looked at this and studied it for about 15 minutes and I just can't see Moses, at all, but I must admit it's a nice piece off work, in fact it's better than our angle of the north, now that is an eye sore, and a waste off tax payers money, nice shot anyway, Otto & well done.

Hello Otto. When I think of Moses my mind is drawn back to the Old Testament where Moses with God's divine intervention parted the waters so the Israelites could be spared from Pharoah and his army. So, when I look at this sculpture I am looking for some shape or symbolism that represents the historical story. I think I can see some shapes that represent that part of Moses life. I also gather that this piece of art is standing upwards and there is a black railing on the second floor. Its a very large piece of work. Are the dark spots on the upper edge of the photo the limit of your flash range? It does look interesting Otto. A very interesting sculpture!

Hi Otto,
You have chosen a very good POV here. It is a very nice sculpture. It is very difficult too say but I believe the photo could have been better without using the flash. If so, you probably would have needed a tripod. This of course difficult to say because I do not know anything about the lighting conditions. I am sure though, that with natural light the forms and shapes would have come out beautifully. Even with lamplight it could sometimes be very good. The insensitive placing of non-figurative art often surprises me. Here I feel it is a little bit in that way. Have a nice week-end!
Cheers,
Ulf

Hi Otto
So this is Moses eh? Can't really believe it, but the artist has certainly used artistic interpretation to the full. A long exposure with a tripod and natural light would have yielded greater results but the image you've captured is very good. There is a lot of detail to admire and the piece is interesting. Well done.
