Photographer's Note
This bridge makes the connection between New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island (PEI) crossing the Northumberland Strait.
Renting a Cessna from Truro/Nova Scotia we had a most pleasant ride over and landed on Summerside Airport one hour later or so (a huge airfield, much too big for our little plane). The airfield was once used by the airforce during cold war.
We were welcomed with big hellos and they sent us over to the restaurant where they were expecting the little Swiss crew. Bridges connect !
PS. I always liked this picture, this blue in blue thing. I gave it a bit more power so the sea comes out more and I framed it.

What a great view, really spectacular..!!!
Adding a piece of the Cessna is well choosen, it creates the right amount of depth.
The sunlight on the water is wonderful.

Hi Barbara,
Did you go on the bridge? It's a very nice bridge and a fun 15 minutes to cross by car. When you start seeing PEI, it's a nice view.

Spectacular view even without the note, although this definitely brings a plus to the pic.
Being in love with flying (although I've only done it in big planes and I can't wait to be in a glider or a hot air ballon...), I can understand what you felt when you were up there....

I like the perpendicular intersection of the two lines here and of course the spectacular view with the texture of the water.

Beautiful light on the water. The plane [or part of it] adds depth to the picture, not that it's needed. I was hoping to drive over that bridge when I was in NS, but didn't get to. Someday...

it's a public holiday today in the US, which means I have a little more time to browse the galleries here and discover hidden gems. like this one - I really like the shimmering silver water and how you used the bridge and part of the wing to frame the scene. you have a good eye for these areal photos :) and sicne I assume this was taken through window, excellent quality too.
