Photographer's Note
We are at the Ligori shelter where I tried a different approach to the stunning view by incorperating part of the shelter with the skis leaning on its side. Please let me know what you think about this composition.

Hi Charles. This is another great example of a high POV. That's nice with the little bit of blue sky peaking through. Beautiful shot Charles.

Nice view Cam but I think you have too much empty frame space in the upper third of the frame. Perhaps crop or change the angle of shooting to include more of the view in the distance. Just my perspective..I hope you don't mind saying what I think! I wish I could be skiing there.

Serwus Charles !
Interesting vertical framing with use of the part of the shelter and pine tree. I find it well composed, especially well renedered clouds are enhancing in this distant view. Without them, blue sky in the middle of the frame wouldn't be appealing and interesting. So, it's good like it is.
Best regards,

Hi Charles,
I had a short delay to take a small pause and now I'm here to make my critiques and also show my recent post.
First of all thanks for your views and captures like this Winter one that you present us from this beautiful place of your nice Country in great perspective in a well framed vertical image.
Good angle of view with good light, perspective, colors, fine sharpness and enquadrement with the wood house and surrounding view. Very good work, congratulations and have a nice weekend.
All the best to you and your friendly work.

Hello there - long time no see!
;-D
Woow, white snow, skis, a barn, a forest... actually quite a nice picture that makes me wish I was there, too!
I believe the owners of this ski equipment are inside and having a nice time warming up by a log-fire and with a cup of hot drinks in their hands?
Robi
PS. The composition is top noch - the only thing I would change (if I was to change something) is to crop a bit more from the top (just above the snow covered roof).

Salut Charles,

Hi Charles,
The two distinct scenes are well seen and the sharpness level is just right. No matter how you take this photo, it will be a compromise. Perhaps a little more of the rustic wall of the cabin in the scene would have better balanced the empty expanse of snow and the mass of clouds. Just a suggestion. As it stands, the eye is rewarded nicely and the colourful skis enhance. I also like the roof line very much with the icicles visible. A clear crisp well taken shot, Charles.
