Photographer's Note
I met this groundhog the other night as he was happily munching on a piece of crumb someone had given him in Strathcona Park, Ottawa. He did not seem to shy away when I came very close to his face (my zoom is not too powerful). He was nonchalantly eating on. Not a camerashy subject :-)

Wow, beautiful photo. Very cute indeed. Are you sure it's a hedgehog though???? Looks more like a beaver to me.

une scène très sympathique qui nous montre l'habileté de ces mammifères quand ils se nourrissent, vraiment des attitudes humaines.

Oh my word. I have never see a ground hog, but he is fat and beautiful.It a lovely picture, perfectly exposed and with great DoF. He looks really sweet.

Very nice portrait Sarolta, great to have accomplish this with your 18-70mm lens and your friend didn't leave....I like his look, very good DoF, well done.
