Photographer's Note
Shortly after I took the photo that I posted yesterday we had to cut short our Canadian trip when I received news that my mother in Australia had died.
So .... I'm finishing this Canadian series with an fun photo taken early in the trip in Vancouver.
That makes 100 photos in Canada!

Hi Ian,
My condolences. Even after 8-9 years it must still hurt. Canadians and Australians have the same down to earth sense of humour, and are so alike in many ways. I could quite easily live in British Columbia. But would find the winters in Alberta and Ontario just too brutal. Tfs!

Hello Ian,
I don't know what to say.......
I think it's good , 'To treasure your Mum memory' in a positive way. With a fun photo like this.
I'm sure your Mum ( somewhere in heaven), is smiling and saying to you, 'Onya, son! 100 photos in canada'.
I'll have the PITCHERS , Your shout.....!

Hello Ian,
That was a very sad way to end your journey in Canada. A good capture of this sign advertising the soup of the day. I have once eaten in a restaurant where they served beer soup, I believe it was in Denmark.

Hi Ian,
It's not the most original joke. And I would prefer advertising some specific brand rather than generic beer. But still this fits my mood today. Restaurants in Finland will close next week. This is the second time during the pandemic. First time was April-May last year.

Hi Ian,
this is a very funny one. Sadly I don't like soups or beer but the sense of humor is still very inviting.
Very informative reportage which tells ius about the price of beer in Canada :) At least what it was 9 years ago...
Very well done,
M

Hello Ian,
I think it would be my favourite place for lunch if I lived there.
Best Wishes,
