From the Yellowhead Highway we turned south onto the South Yellowhead Highway which in part runs along the Thompson River valley.
The valley has a string of small towns most of which had little old churches, mostly built of timber.
here are 3 of them. On the left is a church in Spences Bridge, in the middle is one in Lytton and on the right is a church in Ashcroft.

Hello Ian,
This is a nice collection of churches of very different styles and colours. The backgrounds tell us you saw them in very small places close to the wilderness.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Ian,
Although there are differences in these churches, there is definitely a recognisable style, the front door situated within a tower supporting a spire and cross.
Fine crisp photographs, shown in fine light, with accurate colours.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Ian,
The churches are impressive. The point of view is showing the details of the churches. The light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Ian,
A nice trio of wooden and plaster British Columbian churches with excellent colour, lighting and sharpness. Smart choice of a vertical format for all 3. Tfs!

Hi Ian,
Good collage of these traditional Canadian churches. They share the same shape. But size and building materials are quite different, and that makes this interesting.

Hi Ian,
a great collection of little churches. They are so charming and each with a character.
I have recenlty watched a movie Anne of Green Gables with my daughter, action of which happens in Canada and there were occasionaly those wooden churches there.
Very well done,
M

ian
the church at left, with natural timber in evidence, looks similar the precious timber temples I saw in chiloé island. a nice collection you got here. here in my region we had many marvelous timber churches, most of them were demolished.
take care
jorge
