This is as much of Mt Robson (3,954 m) that we could see. It is the peak that Mount Robson Provincial Park is named after. It was still fairly early in the morning so there was plenty of low cloud hanging about.
In the workshop is another nearby peak, Cinnamon Peak I think.

a well chosen PoV, well exposed with lots of detail in the sky. The bright trees make a colourful foreground for this majestic mountain.

Hello Ian,
The weather doesn't look so inviting, but the light was still good enough despite the low clouds, and the colours turned out well. Nothing could stop those yellow trees from catching attention. Mt. Robson is well placed between the nearer green hillsides.
I don't have a good cricket memory, but I have a travel diary and a good memory of times when nearly all hotels were fully booked.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Ian,
The composition is well divided, the sky, the mountain and the trees. The point of view is showing the details of Mount Robson and of the trees. There is a good contrast between the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

Hello Ian,
Fantastic photo of that impressive mountain in the middle of the photo with its head in the clouds. The yellow trees in the foreground make a great addition to the photo and add a fantastic contrast.

Hello Ian,
Besides being a spectacular piece of scenery, you have composed the photograph beautifully, guiding us towards the mountain, which reminds me of something from 'The Lost World'!
Have a lovely day,
Bev :-)

Hello Ian, the foreground mountains create a ‘V’ and frame Mount Robson beautifully.
Some lovely natural colours throughout; the golden tones of the trees in the immediate foreground add extra interest to the scene.
Lovely.
Kind regards, Jean.

ian
the clouds in the top make our imagination going ahead and imagine a sharp peak behind, maybe it isn't so higher as we can imagine. anyway a special view of this mountain.

Hello Ian,
Both photos would make excellent posters and paintings. I like the contrast of the monochrome top portion, and the splashes of color on the trees below. The mountains and trees look so harmonious, and from this POV there doesn't seem to be a person in sight. Very nice. :-) Take care!

Hi Ian,
This is probably how Mt Robson looks much of the time, with its head in the clouds. It looked just like that when I saw it about 20 years ago. The colourful deciduous trees in the foreground stand out nicely against the dark conifers. A sharp and well exposed photo.

You composed very nicely scenic sight of the mountain.I like especially contrast between painting-like autumn trees and snow-coverd mountains at background. The natural colours are great as is the photo's sharpness. Regards,Ecmel
