Photographer's Note
This new post modern hospital was opened last spring. It is part of a complex comprising several buildings including a historic jail building. The old jail now serves as the administration building, a small part of it visible on this picture, it is connected to the new building with a covered bridge. The Ontario Architect Association awarded a Design Excellence Award to the two team of architects who designed the new building. The complete redevelopment of the site is still going on, when completed Bridgepoint will be a pedestrian-friendly campus with historic and modern buildings with landscaping and gardens.

Hello Barnabas,
I self built a hospital, alone a little bit less modern than these extraordinarily architecture.
I finds your picture a lovely presentation, almost every time become hospitals through a competition designed, maybe also in your country.
Excellent composition, soft of colours nice presentation too.

Hi Barnabas
A beautiful modern structure, so nice to see its design breaking away from the typical hospital style building I am more accustomed to. And its great that despite its intense modernity, it compliments the old jail beside it. I think the bridge linking them is a very clever idea linking them both metaphorically and physically. Very nice, thanks as always for sharing.
