Photographer's Note
This is a picture of Toronto's new city hall shortly after it was officially opened in 1965. It was designed by Finish architect Viljo Revell, he won an international competition with his modern design, unfortunately he did not live to see it completed. The UFO like structure between the towers is the council chamber. Now there is a hotel on the parking lot from where this picture was taken.

Hello Barnabas,
I love seeing old photos, especially with old cars in them. :-) City Hall is very nice, but for me, the cars really make the photo. My father had one similar to the green car in the parking lot. Toronto is a lovely city. I stayed right across the street in the Sheraton Hotel when I visited many years ago.

Hi Barnabas,
Im really in to this kind of old pictures,typical 1960s colors and architecture,and the cars in front are very welcome.
I remember my cousin was a flowerbulb salesman in the states during the 1960,70,80 and 90s,and he Always sent us this kind of postcards,great stuff!
