Man, there seems to be one of your shots on every page of the gallery this evening!
This is great - what a face, and I like the suggestion of the busy scene behind him. I don't know if you've heard, but photographing the police has now been made a criminal offence here in the UK. Maybe it's time to emigrate to Kanadia...

Bukowski once wrote something like "we need the police to avoid some other major complications". I always liked the way he put it because it resumes what social armed intervention forces are all about. Or at least what I believe they are all about.
And so does your shot, a fantastic capture of an almost mythical figure, the savior of the cat on the tree, the opponent of the bad guys who leaves no space for gray areas. Doesn't he?
Great picture. Makes me stop. Makes me think. Strong. Very strong. Incredibly strong!
