The spring time in the city.
There is nothing more joyful than that…
The Magnolia trees… The tulips in the town squares are saying hello… The birds are chirping like crazy… The short skirts of the girls…
But, nothing can beat those pinky cherry blossom trees.
And, I mean nothing…
Ask any, outstanding photographer on TE… You know… The one that owns the camera… They'll tell you.
They love that spring feeling in the air.
Who wouldn't ?

George, this is SO a wonderful and terrible pic. The Spring, yes. And the old shoes of this old homeless. And his face. The Spring. But yes! For you, for me. And he? Grande, bravissimo George. This is art. But SO a deep, intelligent, great art!I love SO much it! Meraviglioso, terribile George!

He is a 'fleur de macadam'!
Very interesting photo. Quite unusual point of view. And the frame just so close to his face and so much space "under" him... I'll admit, I would not have thought of such a frame. But it works just perfect!
If I'm not mistaken, the focus was not on the boots, but on his face, which is the right choice in my opinion, though the boots take a bigger part of the photo.
There is a street feel, no doubt, in every pixel of this photo. It cries "street", "street", "street".
So yes, a street photography, at its best... The Spring street that is!

N.B.: "Fleur de macadam"... Mmmm.... no idea how to translate this. Literal translation: macadam flower. It means a man or woman who loves urban style of life. Also, I've read that in France there is an association called "Fleurs de macadam" which promotes the painting of flowers in the streets by kids at spring. Ha!

He looks like he is prepared for the other sleep...and he makes me also think of San Francesco d'Assisi, but for the shoes:). That composition of yours is grand. Gives him a statuesque look too. Was he drunk, or just tired, or both, he certainly is the other, and you, so near, are all over this photography too.
