Oh boy.... that was your last photo before... before... the shameful deleting of your entire gallery. This photo is so associated for me to this event...
You changed the title... maybe it is not "innocent"... somehow, to exorcise the demons... To redeem... To erase the pain, the "bloodbath" of the deleted photos. I know, I am exaggerating, but I know too that it must have been painful.
As for the photo in itself, I bow my head. You might love or not the word but I truly think it is "Art". It is a strong photo. A "soft punch" in our face...

Pozdrawiam i dobrej nocy T.

A strong, hard impact. Terrible colours, terrible image. And you, George, always the same: a great, wonderful photographer.

Good evening George! (At leats in this part of the world)! That
does look bloody, especially in the large version. The
thumbnail gives an idea of what it really is. Well seen and
handled, as always.
All the best

The film where there will be blood ...Fantastic one.
As so is this. The texture of that red...the splash on one's face, like a reminder on all the daily car accidents. Beautiful work on those red and grays. Very noir.

George, the idea and the technical implementation are both perfect. Thank you for sharing! I mark it as one of my favourties. Regards, Jalab

Hi George
really impressive shot due to the contrast between deep red and black, and also by the feeling you have when looking at the drops, underlined by the title

I remember this, too. I went to look at it the next day I added, but poof, it was gone.
Reminds me of Argento blood. His is the best cinematic blood, for reasons I have.
Ugh, I just think this is great. Like a real artwork.
