Photographer's Note
Living the dream on the west coast. I have my log house built, I have chips and pop inside, ordered pizza with my cell phone and its on its way..and have my natural log recliner seat to soak up the warm sun. With the sound of ocean waves rolling in along with the smell of fresh sea air...all is well... living the dream life. Relax!

Hi Paul
After long time! ;D
This recliner doesnt seem too comfy, but it does the trick for this guy! Well composed image with resting manocuppying just enough space, so we can see the lines of breaking waves... Good light, colors and sharpness.

I sure hope that guy doesn't live in that collection of logs! It would be pretty cold with the wind howling through there! I've seen a few of those log lean to's on the beach, but I have no idea who builds them or uses them. Great shot catching this humorous scene!

Hi Paul
A storm passed here ?
What an unconfortable way to relax.
But realy it's a good colored composition.
The man (mabe you) is in a strong position on the frame.
Cheers.

Now there's a dream I can relate to... except for the chips and pop (maybe organic fruit and spring water).. and I think I'd opt for a softer mattress (and perhaps someone to share it with). Oh yeah, that house is in move-in condition, all right..
Great composition, really.

Ha ha, is this a self-portrait, Paul, or did you just come across this fellow on the beach like this? Strange shot indeed, but interesting to look at and technically very good. Cheers . . . David

Hello Paul -
Outside of running water, a toilet, and a shower it looks like you have made. A well composed and executed image. Also, a humorous image, well done! Thanks for the chuckle.
Thank you for sharing

Hi Paul,
A humorous, relaxing shot that kind of symbolizes much of our west coast lifestyle - at least, the lifestyle that many aspire to...I like the crisp clear look here. The sharpness level seems just right, and the rolling breakers out there draw the eye and the heart, with the odd bather walking about. Well captured.

Hello Paul,
Very interesting and different picture. because it shows well the shore in winter time, and all the logs that the ocean brought . I can imagine the thunder caused by the waves.

Hi there Paul. An interesting one, given your propensity for pure landscapes. The reclining position looks anything but comfortable. In fact, he looks like he's on the Rack. But the shot is well composed with the diagonal of the log and the perspective created by the recliner and the shack. I like the way the waves continue the perspective. Good contrast and richness of colour.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello Paul,
That's living the life right there! Can I come and stay at your log house some day? Ok, back to the photo now. Great view and excellent details in the foreground. I love the colours and clarity as well. Excellent shot, Paul!
Greetings,
Ann
PS: Nice to see you back in action!
