Hi Ian,
Lovely mountain lake landscape with clear reflections. Symmetric framing was just right for this scene. Low hanging clouds give nice morning atmosphere. And colourful autumn trees make strong contrast with dark green background.

This is a perfectly balanced mirror image with the autumn coloured trees as its central focus. The slightly altered reflected colours have created a very pleasant palette.

Hello Ian,

Another exquisite, early morning view of the rising clouds and their reflections in the still water.
The line of trees looks like a golden separation line.
(I might have cropped some of the f/g, just to remove the trees from such a central position. It does seem to emphasise the difference in colours between the mountain and its reflection. Just try it and see what you think.)

Hi Ian,

I appreciate the reflections on the water of the lake. The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the mountains. The cloudy sky does not hurt the colors output. Have a nice day.

it seems you have benefited from visiting this area in the autumn. The clouds or fog, it looks so very photogenic. It well decorates the scenery.

Hello Ian,
Great photo you took in the early morning where the clouds are low over the water. The golden leaves of the trees make a good border between the mountains and their reflection on the water.
