Photographer's Note
The last rays of the day after 9:00 PM color the coulees of the Oldman River Valley at Popson Park in Lethbridge, while deep shadows advance.
Picture taken looking north towards my pov in this fall view here.
Technically, I had to filter light and shadow separately in PS, since one was over, the other under exposed. I thought the pp work was worth the effort.
Straightened horizon, small crop, border added and downsized.

Beauty of the river through a very colorful landscape! 9pm seems amazing for the sunrays with such brightness! Good composition! tfs :)

Wow, finally you have posted some new shots. I can really understand the difficulty to capture what must have been a fantastic view in reality. Taking into account the difficult lighting conditions I think you have done an absolutely wonderful post-editing work here, Otto! Have an nice week-end!

A very nice land come river shot the colours are really nice and natural, and i do like your POV, but i still can't help thinking of the (song) Old Man River, especially when i see the title of your photo, you do pick good titles for your photos,

The varied light here is interesting, it is almost like you were waiting for the righ moment!
The shimmering surface of the river is eye-catching, and the image is well composed with good colours!
