Photographer's Note
On one of the last sunny and warm days of Fall in Lethbridge, I present a shot of this old fighterplane, mounted in the parking lot of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Looking a little like a UFO, the old Lethbridge Watertower, converted into a Restaurant, can be seen in the background.

I like it!
Its a T-33 "T-Bird", a military two seater trainer, very popular in its era.
Both wing tip external tanks were its trademark!
Great Pic.!

Hi Otto,
I love this vivid and colorful scene. The composition is really great with the airplane against the clear blue sky and the cars passing it like busy bees at the bottom. Very well seen and an excellent job.
Cheers,
Ulf

Hi Otto
Interesting shot and one that looks like a big airfix model. I like the stunning blue sky in the background which brings out the plane well. Good shot with a degree of humour to it. Well done.

Hello Otto, how are you?
Hmmmm this is something I have yet to see in Norway or even with my own eyes.... a plane mounted like this.
The plane looks very calm where it is sitting, but in opinion a plane is not made to sit on top of a stand.
I know I am the self proclaimed aircraft fanatic, but I actually have problem seing the difference with two planes from this era. This T-33 T-bird and the P80 Shooting star, theyr are some very similar aircraft.
Just for the note, the T-33 is also known as "Shooting Star" alater variant was also known as "Silver star".
Oh and Cuneyt, the F-86 Super Sabre has a open nose jet intake.
I've had a little hobby part time job fixing planes like this at the local aircraft museum.
Ok back to the photo, colours look good but the light is a little hard and some of the features of the aircraft is lost due to reflection. Did you attempt to fix this or was it just missing photo info?
