Photographer's Note

Please open both photos in new tabs.
Above the town of Jasper sits Whistlers Mountain. The summit is accessed by a steep tramway. The views are great over Jasper, surrounding country and towards other mountains.
We went up there on the last day that the tramway was running for the season (it isn't a ski area) and coincidentally the first light snow for the season fell while we were up there.
These 2 photos were taken in extremely uneven light so they are both the result of 3 bracketed photos and combined using HDR Efex (Nik software for Photoshop). The B&W photo in the workshop was pushed a bit farther than usual for TE and probably wouldn't have been suitable as a main posting. It was just me having fun.
