Photographer's Note

I will take a short break from my travelogue on the Hawaiian Islands and will post a more recent picture taken "at home". Probably less informative than the images featuring lava and volcanoes, this one is certainly more eye catching.
Taken in picture-perfect weather from Highway 1A, known as the Bow Valley Parkway, which runs parallel to the Trans Canada Highway between Banff and Lake Louise, on the other side of the Bow River. The three prominent peaks in the background are, from left to right, Haddo, Saddle and Fairview. Behind them is Lake Louise, and further back and to their right, nestled between the other three peaks, are Lake Agnes and the Lake Agnes Teahouse.
This location, right on the highway, offers a beautiful view of the Bow River and the Canadian Pacific Railway. It was named after Nicholas Morant, accomplished Canadian photographer who worked for the railway company. A nice, warm summer picture taken by Naret from this location can be seen here.
