Photographer's Note

The mighty rock of Perce in the Gaspe peninsula, Canada. See location Map
A scanned print taken on a trip in 8/1978.
Morning view with low-tide , as people can walk from the shore to the rock , some 150m , but only for about 4 hours – than I think there was a 2.5m+/- difference tili the evening tide.

The white "spots" are birds: "Northern Gannet" ("Morus bassanus").

The geological-phenomena here is that the rock's formation and virtue, is different from the surronding mainland and islands around it - like from another place... see the WS for overview .

*** Due to the old staff's condition – I admit quality is not as good as digital's.
