Very crisp, Hitchcock-style picture. There is something unrealsitic about it. It seems like the extra-sharpness brings some problems to the edges of tree branches, but I would say that it is not principal in this case. Overall, the selection of B&W mode was a write choice.

I was trying to find the words to describe this shot, then I read Vladimir's critique, and there it is. It has got a "Hitchcock" feel to it. I find it a fascinating photograph. The lighting and the contrast, along with the line of the fence, all lead the eye to the house, the house that for some reason seems to have a sinister look to it. The use of B&W works superbly here Yves. A wonderful shot.

Nice work Yves;
Great job on the post production- burning the sky, dodging the clouds. Always makes for a very dynamic shot with alot of impact. The trees on the right hand side do react somewhat strangely to this type procedure- attaining a bit of a halo effect in some ways. But overall- nicely done.
A good amount of detail- and I like the composition with the fence leading the viewer into the image.
