C'est un très joli paysage d'automne. Je ne connais pas le Quebec mais c'est comme cela que je l'imagine. C'est sympa de voir une campagne aussi bien habitée.

Salut Charles. I do like these types of scenes, where the sun does not throw everything into sharp relief. Instead we have subtle, pastel colours and difused light. Lovely colours and mood. Regards. Klaudio

Une superbe image, Charles! Les couleurs, magnifiées par la lumière, sont très belles. Les taches blanches des maisons et des canards (?) sont vraiment très bien venues ici et contribuent à la très belle composition.J'aurais peut être coupé le haut de l'image pour supprimer ce "triangle" plus clair en haut à gauche qui attire un peu l'oeil.

Bonjour Charles,

Une bonne prise de vue de la ferme aux canard et des autres maisons de Saint-Urbain sous la pluie qui rehausse les couleurs et la brume une sensation de tranquillité. La photo a une bonne composition, profondeur de champs et de belles couleurs. Merci du partage.

Good morning Charles,
The misty background saves this shot from being too trite and balances the frame nicely. The thin slice of foreground grass is well proportioned as a lead-in to the scene of the ducks milling about, with the urban scene occupying mid-frame. The mountain rising out of the "Scotch Mist" gives superb perspective. The overall clarity of detail is impressive. This is the kind of photo that grows on one, as there are so many details to discern, yet the frame is not crowded. Have a good week, Charles. Monday is a holiday here, but I do not believe it is in all parts of the country. Regards.

Beautiful photograph, such a peaceful spot, even with all the ducks! I like the effect the rain is having on the distant hills, nice fall color in the foliage. TFS

Hi Charles!
I remember when I saw "Saint-Urbain" written anywhere on the road, traveling around "La Belle Province". I didn´t went to see this city, but since all the province is beautiful I can imagine that I miss something. Well, we can´t see everything when we are traveling..
So, its always nice to see Quebecoise pictures in your nice galery! So, thanks for sharing one more, specially showing the beautiful autumn colours!

Hi Charles. I think the rain helps increase the saturation of your fall colors. I like some of the houses but wish others were cloned out somehow. I'm glad you kept that nice camera out of the rain! ;)

Hi Cam,
You can almost sense the rain in the distance here. Excellent landscape with good clarity. The ducks add a lot of beauty to this image though having them as the next meal would never be a pririty for me. I would rather shoot them with my camera.

L'arrivée de la pluie donne un effet de brume, la luminosité deviendra moins intéressante lorsque la pluie sera au dessus de toi. L'image a été captée au bon moment.

Je suis étonné, Charles, par cette photo faite sous la pluie. On dirait même que les couleurs sont mieux rendues que par temps sec. J'aime ce coin tranquille de campagne loin de l'agitation des villes. Un vrai bonheur !
