Photographer's Note
Montreal is a fascinating city in many respects. It has a varied downtown core, along with vibrant waterfront areas that encompass (or are at least close to) the "Old Montreal" and "Old Port" areas.
To me, a cityscape shot of Montreal would be incomplete if it only included the downtown skyscrapers -- I've included those in this photo, along with much of the port area. The dark bulge in the background, near the middle of the photo is Mount Royal, the "mountain" that Montreal is named after.
This photo is a composite of several (5) individual frames which I linked together using Photoshop. Exposure time was approximately 15 seconds per frame.

Great picture. I really like the colors and composition. Nice job in photoshop...it can be difficult. Are you going to post a larger version of it? I would be very interested in seeing one.

The color saturation, the bright and contrast, this photo has it all, to make it, this great.The city lights,colorful and sandwiched between two bands of blue hues.Great Montreal landscape Dennis.Good thing you copyrighted it.
