Photographer's Note

This morning I saw Lars had posted a contemporary view from this very same location - and gave me an idea to go and scan some of my old prints. So I taken this seriousely, and will post a number of pic.'s from my archives. Quality would not be perfect, but in many cases you would be able to see how places looked back in time, before the digital era.

Mount-Royal is the highest location in town, view over downtown Montreal and the St.-Lawrence river.
At time when I took this, there was a vintage automibiles exhibition.
The sepia tone is because of the paper quality, through the scanning process.

The precise location onmap: 45.5035, -73.587

*** Thank you Lars.
