Photographer's Note
This is one of the famous huge mural of a Graffiting Grandma in Montreal was painted by Montreal-based artist collective A'shop.
One of their latest works was for the MURAL street art festival that recently took place on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, in downtown Montreal.
As one of twenty street artists that came from all over the world, A'shop painted one huge side of a building in some eye-popping colors. Their piece featured a colorfully dressed grandma spray painting into the sky.

ottima composizione, mi piace come hai suddiviso la foto tra la parte destra con il murale e la destra con la città che si muove con i suoi ritmi.
Perfetto l'inserimento delle persone, soprattutto con l'uomo con la giacca rossa.

Your angle of shot is well chosen. The traffic light and pedestrians in cluded in the image let us apprciate the giant size of the mural. Even with an overcast sky, you were able to get the colors out and achieve excellent sharness of the mural's details.

What a great shot and fine observation ! It looks as if the old lady on the painted wall had sprayed snow with her spray can ! I like how the colours of the graffiti nicely pop out in the dull street. Street art can sometimes enliven the urban environment. Well seen and captured.

What a great mural! The colors really pop out against the winter sky. Aside from this great street art, I like the entire scene: the building on the right, the people, the telephone booths and piles of snow. It's a wonderful urban view.

This is interesting!
I'm not a fan of graffiti but, to me, this is not graffiti, it is art. It has certainly livened up the greyness of a winter's day!
The inclusion of the people helps a lot in understanding the scale.

Bonjour Anna,
Il y a de plus en plus de ces murales à Montréal. De vraies belles oeuvres d'art pour bien camoufler les défauts dans les murs. Une chance qu'il y a de la couleur sur le mur car le reste est un brin tristounet.

what a great graffiti scene with the grandma to cover the side wall of this building in Montreal! I like the created details,the light and the colour management as the quality of the scene that seeing this thinks that is alive.The people of MURAL street must be very proud having this excellent art graffiti in one of the buildings of their town.

Beautiful painted wall on the street corner, and besides that - I see snow piled-up on the pavement, people crossing stood on the road, hands in the pockets - that gave a nother nice object to the whole.
Inspite of the low light of winter, managed a fine vivid photo.
