Welcome to my corner of the planet.Coteau du Lac is situated along the St-Lawrence river where the pioneer had to stop to go around the rapids.With the growing commerce along this natural highway,a first canal than a second was built and a fortification was needed to protect this strategic passage.The actual blockhouse is a reconstitution,and our visual icon.You are invite to look at a beautiful picture of the blockhouse on adube site, titled-oasis of peace.

The picture might look a little "misty", maybe because you zoomed in ? I think you used true colors and I don't mind. Some people think they have to "rework" the colors etc. at every picture. Sometimes it might be necassary, but the rework of supereira I don't like at all : it's not natural anymore... sorry, supereira...

First, thanks for visiting and sharing, your composition is very well, the colours too, maybe the sharpness and the clarity is not hundred per cent, but I like this.

Salut Charles. Belle photo d'un coin connu. Je suis d'accord avec Luc. L'original a beaucoup plus de mystère et est plus paisible que le WS de Sofia. Pour connaitre l'endroit, je croyait m'y voir.
