Photographer's Note
A second picture will be add in the workshop.
We are back from a week off.We found 13 feets(450 cm) of superb white powder.
This is a view from the rented house, more then 100 year's old.Taken on a frigid morning,it was -27c,to which you should add a big windchill factor.
At the bottom of the valley lies the village of Baie St-Paul, reknow for the numerous artists that live here, and one of the most beautiful region in Quebec.
We are in Charlevoix, named world biosphere reserve by Unesco.Charlevoix was sculpted by a giant meteorite some 350 million years ago.The crater's diameter stands at 56 km,the worlds 13th biggest and the second in size in Quebec, behind the manicouagan's crater.

Great panorama at sunrise! I like the soft colours and pre-dawn glow on the snow. Great framing too, with the long horizontal. Well done!

Bonjour Charles,
Joli avec une belle ligne dans le ciel qui accompagne la rivière jusqu'au virage, la vielle maisonme plait bien, ansi que la note ou je m'apercois que les québequois ont plus de risqes de recevoir le ciel sur la tête que les bretons.;
Compliments

Hi Charles. Both shots are great and I am having a hard time deciding which one I like more. This might be fun as a high-res panoramic shot. Good note too. Great shot Charles!

Good morning Charles,
The chilly freezing temperature is well conveyed in this shot. There is much for the eye to absorb. I like the POV, with the sloping foreground area leading the eye nicely into the frame. The various layers of interest are well seen and the water in the distance with the pink sky is alluring. It would be interesting to see a photo from this spot for each of the four seasons. Keep warm!

Hi Charles, A nice view of the sunrise with the deep snow in the cold days. You did an excellent job to this facing the sun picture. A well composed picture with nice contrast and depth.
Thanks for the extra evening image, which is beautiful as well. Also, thanks for taking the cold to take this picture.

Hello Charles
I've visited this place but in the height of summer - it was still quite peaceful but warm and with lots of colour and flowers and insects. It looks very different in your photo - but am sure it's just as charming in Winter. Nice composition, very well exposed and with great sky.
Thanks for sharing and bringing back memories.
