Wow, autumn leaves on steroids!
The colours and brightness seem a bit overpowering in this one, Silke. The red of the leaves just jumps off the screen.
I would have preferred a bit less saturation, but your shot certainly has undeniable impact.

Splendid scene is in two objects and almost single color. Textures are stunning on red colored foliages and bricks. Terra cotta colored bricks is creating an extraordinary background for your wonderful foliages. Excellent light management and timing. Congratulations.

The cameleon effect would be a more suitable title. Now which is the cameleon? the wall or the leaves?
Viewer sees red while scrutinizing this autumn glow.

Really strong red glow. That's autumn sunshine at it's best! I wish to find such a theme next year.
I'd prefer this scene slightly wider though showing the leaves on bottom and left in complete.

The leaves are so beautiful that I want to bring THEM out. The cement ridges between the bricks can be an added feature or detracting. So I will try to reduce their impact. That is not to say I don't like this original, but I can not resist trying to make those leaves GLÖÖÖÖÖW... ;)
So I will go for PP: MÖRE CRÖP... more or less...

I really like this shot! It is a true symbol of Canada and you have captured it extremely well. The warm tones and colors give a pleasing feel to this shot. The brick and the leaves work well together and the composition of the shot is perfect! Great work!

I adore the colour of these leaves (maple?). However, they would have been better, perhaps, against a contrasting wall? Nevertheless, you can only take what there is - and this is a fabulously colourful shot.

Pin sharp image with really well saturated colours. Most of these close ups off autumn colours tend not to show unatural things such as brick walls. But the wall makes your image stand out from the rest. There is an autumn shot in my gallery with similar colours but a very different feel.
