Photographer's Note

I went over to Toronto for a week in early August and came back with about a dosen pictures I felt were worth posting. This one was taken from Humber Bay Park, an amazing oasis of tranquillity amidst the hustle and bustle of a city with a population of almost 4.5 million people (I’m talking GTA). Downtown Toronto is visible in the background. Tranquillity, hmm... Now that’s a thought that was definitely NOT going through my mind that evening. Midges were having a blast that evening, at my expense. So a word of caution - if you want to take pictures after sunset anywhere near the water in any of Toronto’s wonderful parks, don’t turn up wearing shorts, otherwise you’d live (most certainly) to regret it. Those horrid little things are blood thirsty and absolutely vicious. So you've been warned.
