Photographer's Note
This is an inside view of one of the new teaching and research buildings of the University of Toronto at the Saint George campus. Opened in 2006, designed by the renown English architect Sir Norman Foster (b.1935). The most interesting feature of the building is the two “pods” hanging from the ceiling of the lobby. Only the bigger of the two pods is visible on this picture. It has a 60 seat classroom inside and a lounge on the top of it. The walls of the lobby is clear glass, so the illuminated pods give the building a very interesting appearance after dark. Some people call the pods giant pills, since they are in a pharmacy building.
I put an external view of the building into the Workshop.

Hello Barnabas,
This is a very interesting interior. I've never seen anything like it before. The giant pod is very futuristic. At first glance it didn't look large enough to hold so many people, but it must be spacious inside. Nice POV, showing some of the lobby and the activity inside. Thanks for the WS photo, too.

Hello Barna,
My professional time was old architecture (also my schooling) and restoration of old castles.
Here I see a nice modern architecture, yes, every century must have a new form of architecture.
A very well composition, perfect presentation too.
Sharpness and clarity be superb.
