Photographer's Note
Signal Hill was the receiving site of the first trans-Atlantic telegraph, and was a military and communications lookout long before. As such, it's a National Historic Site, with well-maintained trails leading down and around the headland, overlooking many of the landmarks in St. John's (and beyond, due to the amazing views!).

Hi Katya,
I like the barrier at the very first plan. It reminds me of a rollercoaster when you're at the highest point, and you're going to go for a ride...
