Hi Korkut. well seen and very original. The sepia is a great choice much better dan the original. the distortion of the water gives a great effect.

mat renklerin göze bu kadar güzel geleceğini düşünmezdim.workshop belkide daha dar bir kadraj olmasından ötürü ' gözü yoran bir karmaşa izlenimi veriyor' özellikle baskın kırmızı karolar.

ancak bu fotoğraf 'tam isabet' bir tercih bana göre.
karolar suyun altında bir detay değil.
karo denizi adeta.. (suyun renkleri dağıtan etkisini pasifleştirmiş)
( tabiki suyun kaldırma kuvvetini veremez:)

Farklı renklerdeki karoların sepyaya dönünce aldığı kahverengi tonların farklılığı, renk estetiği açısından çok ilginç olmuş. Suyun yüzeyindeki dalgaların görüntüyü kırması ve çocuğun etrafında kırılmaların yarattığı efekt de güzel. Eline sağlık.

Hello korkut. Your photo reminds me of an early photo Hungarian photographers of the Andre Kertesz. It had at that time photographed soldiers, who had hurt themselves at the front and for treatment in a sanatorium were. One smiled about him, when he photographed a swimming soldier, since this soldier appeared completely distorted. Your photo works in the Thumbnail completely differently than the opened picture. It is a beautiful and worth seeing experiment , - and a picture for being astonished. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Korkut,
As many other have mentioned, this is a fresh and original photo. I like the way the clarity of the tiles on the pool floor slowly dissolves as we get closer to the boy. The sepia conversion is great, and I like the placement of the child in the top part of the frame. There is a nice change from stillness to movement as we approach him.

Hahaha, that is incredibly shallow water to practice your backstroke. Then again, little chance of drowning as well. ;-)
But you're right that the pattern is very nice, especially in the diagonals in your shot.
Pity you're never posting camera settings. Really a pity...

Yes patterns are excellent, sepia to its best, you are the master of sepia here on TE, i can't see nobody equalized your skills.
Crazy turcs, you are lucky, crazy turcs offer you interesting compo .. we don't have equivalent in France lol just kidding of course Korkut.
Talking about crazyness i read recently that the main character which inspired the movie "midnight express" went back again in turky to excuse.

This is a shot I would not hesitate to hang on my wall! I really like the sepia version although the strong colours of the original version are also nice. How did you manage to get such a clear image? I think it must be difficult not to have a blurry effect with the water...

Contrary to what i wrote to the Hitchcock pic, I strongly believe that this picture is much beter as it is now opposit to the workshop version. The main element here is the square paterns and the distortion of these forms due to the water. The boy is secondary focus point and is actually the cause of the distortion. You do not need bright colors here because it would atract attention away from the paterns

Olá Korkut, quite a diferent result in WS with a diferent happier mood. I like them both, but I would problably choose this one as well. The graphical pattern here is more pleasing. A very funny capture with a wonderful abstract result (I can see a face at top right, with the kid holding on the mouth...)
