Photographer's Note

Two photos ago I have presented here a gate to ancient Hierapolis. What was Hierapolis? Located just at the present day Pamukkale, known for its spectacular white terraces, was a spa for rich Romans. Great place to retire. Many of them stayed here forever at the adjacent necropolis. There are plenty of tombs to see there but sadly they were all devastated by either earthquakes or tomb raiders. This tomb is probably not the most attractive one but it has a pleasant setting.
