Photographer's Note
In the province of Bolu, East of Seben, Alpagut village presents a beautiful set of built-up houses on brick, stone and wood assemblages.
Buildings are aging and are more maintained, young people leave villages and the death of these villages is announced.
That house was one of the most imposing, well planted on the Hill.

Bonjour patrick ,
Des teintes chauses , on dirait une photo d'automne , et une jolie contre plongée sur cette remarquable maison de bois . Quelle tristesse de voir ces batisses tomber en ruine !

Hi Patrick. It must have been grand in its heyday with a large and important family. One can feel the initial optimism of the patriarch that his line will go forever. I wonder what happened to reverse the family fortunes? Modernization, the lure of the city for the young or some other calamity. excellent POV and colours. Details are both interesting and sad.Regards. Klaudio.

Hello Patrick,
You mean this beautiful building is uninhabited!
The vertical format and the rough foreground has been very effective in creating the mood. Great clarity and light management. I agree with Klaudio that details are very well captured but that creates a depressed feeling.
A successful photo.
TFS,
Regards,
Alekhya

Bonjour Patrick,
Cordialement.
Marie-Louise.

Bonjour patrick
I've only been to Trabzon so it's nice to see some more Black Sea coastal scenery like this. The yellow grass and blue sky contrast superbly. Good sharpness and textural contrasts between the wood and stones in the fg. A nice upward pov on the derelict old house in need of a paint. Tfs!

Terrific low pov to bring out the architecture of this great old wooden house. Great picture from a region I hope to travel in some day.
Enjoy the weekend & thanks for posting.

Hi Patrick,
I am guessing this house is abandoned, and this is my very favorite subject, ruined mansions. What a building, so imposing in its size and position, and your chosen point of view emphasizes that really well as we look up and the place seems so immense. Beautiful colors throughout too.
All the best
Noel
