Photographer's Note
One of my favorite places where to take pictures. in the Grand Bazaar, where there's a constant activity, and a new challenge every time I visit it. But there also are places that the common tourist will probably miss, like the dark place where silver is melted in a hell like dark pit.

Hi Izzet!
what an impressive view of this man working at silver !
I couln't believe that this work is made inside the Grand Bazaar!
Colors are special in this composition.
It is a too long time that I don't see Istanbul. I had been there in 1988, it waqs so beautiful!

Hello,
Nice to see something not usually shown. The darkness surrounding the fire is certainly very foreboding and you have captured the mood very well. I do like the yellow boots adding a bit of extra colour.

Hi,
This is very sharp and clean in tone, the colours are muted, almost pastel-like. The contrasts between the warm heat orange and the cold grey surrounds makes a good balance.
A little tale or an ordinary moment, something showing us a man , hardworking and diligent, perhaps as he works he has many thoughts too..

Not only common tourists, but also residents of Istanbul -like myself- who believe they know a lot about their native city are not that familiar with these scenes, I suppose. :-)
The light on the face is breathtaking, and the yellow boots, as Dear Ann pointed out, provide the composition with an extra charm.
A real, daily routine which is exposed by an articulate photographer.
