Photographer's Note
This is a photo taken from a hotel room in Istanbul. When I looked through the window, my attention was drawn by this strange scene. In one place there were gathered: an old architecture (the mosque), modern technology (billboard) and of course - the nature (bird). I wondered, what is prettier. At first, I gave my vote for the beautiful girl behind, then, I voted for the bird. But now when I added the missed part from the mosque minaret and when I completed it, I became totally confused. Please vote and release me from this hard choice and you decide who is prettier:)

Very creative photo indeed, the elements are great, ha ha for the added part, it really made me laugh, another creative and original thing in your photo, I really like it. I would have to vote for the bird, it's such a cutie:)

Nice meaningful capture! do not hesitate to send this photo to festivals.Also can mean choosing your way of life: materialistic, religion & naturalistic! Anyway, in my point of view, the bird & the mosque have so many attractive things in common, so I select both of them!

Nice photo and creative title. It makes me think at Snow White and the mean Step-mother, the Girl in the billboard seams disturbed by the bird! "What is prettier?" takes another sense if we look at it from this pov(lol). Another interesting point, the name of the billboard is "reactive" and the girl is really reacting, the eyes are on the bird...
As for your request, I vote for the bird, it's the center of interest, and alive!!!

Hi Igor,
I loved your photo against all its crowd. The red marge on the left is a genial idea; your photo seems like a picture on the wall, a realistic one. And about the choice...I see that the mosque is not as old as you imaginated and we have much more inclusive ones. As wrote a famous Turkish poet, "When I imagine İstanbul, I immediatly think about herring gulls", so I neither choose the girl.

Dobro si ja ulovil ova scena. Izgleda deka i devojka ot poster ja gleda pticata mnogu vnimatelno. Epten mi se svigja ova sekojdnevna slika.

it´s a strange mix ... in Istanbul you´ll find much of this mixture ... but it´s really hard to tell what is prettier. I think it´s the mixture what makes this photo to a real eyecatcher ...

This is hard to catch. I try once this summer in Bulgaria to take a photo of one seagull who stands on my window but he just like smells me :), he run away like from hell. Interesting photo, the colors are strong and very live, the sharpness is very good too and the moment with that girl in the billboard is fantastic.

Hi Igor. To me it is a toss-up between the bird and the girl and because the girl is a little artificial the natural bird wins. Great photo. Well composed with good colour and fine detail. Thanks for sharing.
