Photographer's Note
I printed some photos I had taken in Garipce, and as the weather was exceptionally nice, I decided to drive there and deliver the photos and have a cup of tea.
I was met with great joy, and was asked to take even more photos. This is one a the many I took, most of them portraits and group portraits.

Hi Salvator,
Lovely detailed shot. Good play of shadow and light.
The hands at the far corner are slightly blurred. Wondering if you have gone at a higher f stop to get more clarity in.

Selam sevgili Salvator,
Bu da günlük yaşamdan muhteşem bir görüntü.Beni üniversite talebesi olduğum altmışlı senelere götürdü. Beğenmediğimiz derslerden kaçar, Beyazıt civarındaki o dönemin ünlü kıaraathanelerine, okey masasının başına çökerdik ! İhtiyarlıyormuyum nedir ?

Salvator süper konular buluyorsun!
Harika bir kadraj, renkler çok canlı özellikle çay bardağına gelen güneşışığı çok canlı.
taşların göründüğü ıstakada okey görüyorum ama oyuncu sanırım henüz farketmemişki ters çevirmemiş :)
eline sağlık çok başarılı bir kompozisyon.

Salvator bakis acin ve kompozisyonun gercekten inanilmaz guzel. Cok begendim. Gercekten klas bir kare olmus. Tek kelime ile enfes. Ifsak kesinlikle yorgunluguna degiyor. Vakit ayarlamam sart olacak. Ellerine, gonlune saglik.

This is a great shot Salvator, and one that shows so much about the relaxed (usually) way of life in Turkey. Three of life's pleasures; cigarettes, tea and "okey". Never played okey but I've drunk a lot of Turkish tea and I used to smoke a lot of cigarettes (non-smoker now). Looks a great way to pass an afternoon.
I like how the scene is lit by window light, flash would have killed this.
