We have had enough of the cold and snow and western PA. Let us go to a sunny day in May near Istanbul. On my last visit to Istanbul, I was curious about the third Bosphorus bridge that was still being built and my niece and her husband were good enough to drive me to Garipçe, close to the Black Sea on the European side. This was my first glimpse of the bridge.
Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge is for rail and motor vehicle transit over the Bosphorus strait, to the north of two existing suspension bridges. The bridge is located near the Black Sea entrance of the Bosphorus strait, between Garipçe in Sarıyer on the European side and Poyrazköy in Beykoz on the Asian side. The foundation stone laying ceremony was held on 29 May 2013. The bridge was opened to traffic on 26 August 2016. At 322 m (1,056 ft), the bridge is the tallest suspension bridge in the world. It is, after the Millau Viaduct, the second-tallest bridge in the world of any type. The bridge is also one of the world's widest suspension bridges, at 58.5 metres (192 ft) wide.

That is a really impressive bridge. Beautiful photo which shows the structure of the tall towers and the long cables so well. The trees add a nice texture in the foreground and divide the photo well into a blue upper half and a green bottom half. Great photo work.

Standing tall above the green grove in the FG, this new bridge already opened for traffic, and we saw on TV some action upon it on the day of the attempted revolution. At time you taken it still had a crane connected.
It looks imposing even from that distant POV.
