Photographer's Note
As I Walk Through Life
I've learned-
that you can do something in an instant
that will give you heartache for life.
I've learned-
that sometimes the people you expect to kick you
when you're down will be the ones to help you get back up.
I've learned-
that true friendship continues to grow, even over
the longest distance. Same goes for true love.
I've learned-
that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship
is at first, the passion fades and there had
better be something else to take its place.
I've learned-
that just because someone doesn't love you the
way you want them to doesn't mean they
don't love you with all they have.
I've learned-
that maturity has more to do with what types of
experiences you've had and what you've learned
from them and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.
I've learned-
that your family won't always be there for you. It may
seem funny, but people you aren't related to can take
care of you and love you and teach you to
trust people again. Families aren't biological.
I've learned-
that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others,
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
I've learned-
that just because two people argue, it doesn't
mean they don't love each other. And just
because they don't argue, it doesn't mean they do.
I've learned-
that even when you think you have no more to give,
when a friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help...

Hi Korkut,
this one is excellent,
more convincing than the other photo in the same style, the composition here is better, the person familiar cut compared to the grounds.
It is a success and I will be surely not the only one you write!

Zeynep

Great B&W shot with this interesting pavement. The wide angle perspective and the 45°camera rotation make it more dynamic. The contrats is excellent too!
Touching note, I enjoyed reading it! (are these your words?) Nice dedication!

Hello Korkut! Yeah it might make you a little dizzy but in a positive way :) I like how the person enters your photo, a business man as it seems, at least he is very well dressed, and somehow he does not "suit" the floor that looks antique in a way and I find this combination attractive. Maybe I am complicated but this came to my mind, but what I actually wanted to say that it is fantastic photo art, away from everything I know, influenced by Valeria, I mean who wouldn't like to be just like her, but I guess you found your own style. Excellent! Barbara.

Çok şık vallahi, reklam fotografi olarak kullanilabilir. Adamin elindeki posetten ziyade "clutch" a benziyor. Yoksa kadin mi modelin? Her ne cinsiyetse grafige cok uyan kivrak bi bedeni varmis. Oturup ozellikle mi bekledin boyle bi tipi?

Thank you very much for the dedication, as a matter of fact I didn't want a lousy capture, I'm glad you dedicated me an Korkut original one ;)
As a matter of fact I was in a hurry I didn't see it and I didn't combine the note with it which suits fine. Hey its your fault man, this picture made me feel dizzy LOL.
Thank you so much for it, I have to ask you something deeper about it..
As for the critique
The glance and the idea is common for you, I've seen many pictures captured the same way. Korkut copyrighted no doubt, The dizzy ground is the extra element here which adds imagination in your composition.

Korkut merhaba!
not.

Hello Korkut
A pleasure to visit your gallery as always! The tilt works great here, not that I am too fond of them, but here it really works. Like how the wavy curves increase in size as they come near the FG edge. The man walking, right at the corner, and IMHO, better than the earlier post of the same place. Fantastic!

I've learned-
that the correct diagonal choice gives a great effect for framing,
and also using B & W sometimes turns the piece into a masterpiece...
I've learned-
that to become a very good photographer is more with the amount of time, energy and will you give to.

Korkut, one of the best example as to when a tilt is really the good option in a picture that I've seen. You know how sometimes people abuse and use the tilt when it's useless. Here, it's perfect.
You did a good job of making sure the man would only be a shadow and would not steal the show and break the graphical side to your picture.
see you!

Hi Korkut,
well, what can I say besides what so many others before me already said it. Your gallery is a great piece of art. And many of your photos masterpieces. One of my favourite photos from the beginning of joining TE community is no doubt Life goes on. The combination of photo and writen words is simply to its perfection. And this photo dedicated to Stelios is no exception. It has everything I love about photos. And notes. And I wish I had the skills to write a proper critique for it. Hopefully you won't mind if I just leave it with: your work is a great inspiration for me!
