Hama is like a web of very narrow streets, all built in fine limestone. The thickness of the walls ensures an even temperature all the year round; cool in summer, warm and dry in winter.
The streets are domed with wooden structures, passages from one building to the other like an upper level of street crossing

Theese wooden windows are called also Mu-sharabia ; its a very good old composition, but the picture is very noisy

This is a great shot! The photo is well exposed and the composition is just very nice. The wooden, elevated crossing makes this alley looks nice. Well seen.
