Even tough there where hordes of tourists, these two old men didn't let themselves be disturbed by anything

Hi Daniel,
They have a wonderful setting to play their game and they look deep in concentration. My only suggestion is that maybe you could have lowered a little bit to include the mans foot completely and then have a little less space on the top, otherwise it is a nice daily life scene.

Le moment est très sérieux et il ne faut pas déranger les deux adversaires pendant la partie. J'aime beaucoup l'endroit et le cadrage.

the two men are oblivious to their surroundings,concentrating on the board!
It is a lovely everyday scene that has much charm and interest,from the plastic chair to the textured wall and door.Quirky and very pleasing.

Nice daily life shot ! These two men seem to enjoy life and take their time whereas in the background, the blurry leg let us think about fastness of modern lives.

Hallo Daniel,
sehr gut gelungenes Street-Foto, schönes Licht und schöne Szene, die Du da beobachtet hast, ziemlich fremd, denn hier im Norden spielen alte Männer kein Backgammon und schon gar nicht auf der Straße, und trotzdem nicht völlig vom anderen Stern: die Stühle und der improvisierte Tisch könnten genausogut hier in einem Hinterhof stehen. Auch das ist ein Aspekt der Globalisierung.

I noticed you had some photos from Isreal, so naturally I was curious.
this is what I'd call simplicity.
look at what they're using for chairs, look at the green box for a table...awesome. Nothing fancy for these 2 guys, just find me a quiet corner in a busy area and they seem just fine.
