No. 4 picture on the Karameri-Parrot: Here are a pair of this green-yellow-feathers bird who actually "conquered" the Yarkon-River Park's trees : a very noisy birds , flying with noteable and "sharp" squawks.

Not easy for take parrots in the nature.

Hello Ike. I see your are fond of bird shots. These are quite colorful and something we would not see in the trees here in Arizona. They appear to be quite large as well. Are they fairly common in Israel? Good job. Regards, Roger

Yes, these invasive birds have taken a hold in Istanbul, too. I think I have a few photos of them. Now that the cherry tree in front of my sister's apartment is gone (came down during a storm), I didn't seen any from up close last summer.
