Photographer's Note

The Night-Heron (Scientific name:"Nycticorax nycticorax" ) I cought on a very calm long rest , more than 15min. time available for photography ( "modeling"), on the Yarkon-river-bank , not being scared by people strolling along nor from bicycle-ridees or dogs.
This 55-65 cm of lngth, and wings span up to 1m for the adult-bird, is active in the nesting season during the day, the rest of the year it's limited evening and night hours.
The night- Heron , "Anafa" in Hebrew, is primarily fish-hunter, so that is why I found it on river-bank.
