Photographer's Note

Common-Kingfisher is the smallest type of the Kingfishr, it's scientific name : "Alcedo Atthis".
(Atthis = from Athens, Greece).
Here in it's natural environment , very close to water on the river , watching for small fishs.
15 – 16cm length, 20gr+/- weight, wing-span of 23-25cm.
A very large dispersion: all over Europe and N.Africa throughout Asia, on the same latitudes.
The most common kingfisher with known 6 sub-species .
