Photographer's Note
My no.3 post on this Karameri-parrot.
In my first picture I noted how this "squawki-bird" inhabitated in Israel.
No.4 will be posted on the same tree, with this one's mate bird's.
All taken in the Yarkon-River-park in Tel-Aviv, though you may found them elsewhere.

nice view of this parrot. I liked its colors and I liked the nude branches against the blue sky ahead. nice light and framing, sharpness isn't so nice, maybe because the zoom or something this way

Israel seems to be blessed with so many varieties of colourful birds.

PS. Then I read your note on the first karameri parrot which you posted, and I must admit it's a pity that animals introduced into a place artificially should chase the endemic species :-(

Hello Ike,
In the unlikely event I should see a parrot in a Swedish tree it would have got out of its cage. Our environment is very far from a parrot's natural habitat. You must have been happy to spot this beauty, and in a place where the trees provided such a perfect background to its light green plumage. It's a well taken photo with a fine light and perfect sharpness.
