White Wagtail on tree, a photo from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Photographer's Note

White Wagtail, managed to have caught on a tree, a bit unusual for this bird - always running on surface.
Scientific name: Motacilla alba, called in Israel "Nachlieli".
It is a tiny bird, and usually comes as a "messenger" to winter here in Israel.
20-28gr weight, 9cm tail out of max. 20cm length, white belly, grey to black wings.
It's twitt is pleasent and with fine musical tone and vocal spread.

Hi Ike,
For me the first time to see a wagtail sitting on a trees branches. Normally they are only running close to water and hiking flies or other beetle.
Nice capture with nice light and soft colors.

nice view of the birds, mixing its shapes and colors with the nude branches of this tree. nice sharpness and light. I would like to put some bars covering the upper and the lower part of the compo, concentrating attention in the bird, anyway this is a matter of preferences. nice image.

Hi Ike,
beautiful wild life capture. I keep staring at this wagtail and try to think whether it is the same as in Europe. The light is so good here, the setting so natural and well lit.
