Photographer's Note
The same bird which I posted on July 12th, a Jay, called in Israel "Orvani", it's a gray crow, and it's scientific name is "Garrulus glandarius".
32 – 35 cm length, 17cm+/- wing span, and weight some 160-190 gr.
Usually found on small forests , parks and plantations, Peckan and wild-fig is it's favorite fruits.
It is a spring inhabitant in the shore-plains of Israel, it was modeling for me all over the garden.

Hi Ike,
nice the snapshot with the little fellow and the way that is stand on the tree.Perhaps a little bit constant to made the scene to has more optical advantage.

excellent view of this bird. I liked the way it is, grabed in the trunk of this tree. I would like to give a little more of contrast and less light to enhance sharpness, anyway it is nice this way too, nice job

The jay bird is well positioned on the tree and the darker toned bark and lighter toned plumage add a nice graphic effect. Excellent sharpness and shallow dof. Tfs!
