Greetings Ike,
Having a look at some of your older work, and this thumbnail really caught my eye. As you suggest, no big event - but it is still a wonderful photograph. you have moved beyond the 'lots of wires' which we all snap occasionally to produce a great industrial shot - the crane in the background is a real frame-maker for this shot - as is the light management which reduces much of the foreground to silhouettes. Excellent graphic elements of the dark tones of the power transformer against the lighter tones of the blue hour sky. I like the minimalist color of just the silhouetted blacks and the blue sky. Good sharpness & a fine upward pov. Tfs.

This is the kind of take that I could find myself making.
A nice blue hour compo with obviously well functioning graphical features. Black metal silhuettes against the sky.
You know I like cranes and such, so this is right up my alley. The place where the sets of caples cross top left is particularly neat.Good choice to let something organic in the frame.

Hello Ike,
I had another look at you random pictures and found this striking composition. In bright daylight, and just looking up by hasard, these details might strike anyone as ugly. But at the blue hour, and just seeing the silhouettes, the pylon with all its details and wires, and the huge crane further away, has turned itself into art. You complemented it with a nice frame of branches. It's really well done.
